A 24-hour control room has been established at the Directorate of Adi Dravidar Welfare to immediately address grievances, including food-related complaints, faced by students staying in Social Justice hostels. The Hon’ble Minister for Social Justice inaugurated the control room.
The control room will function to enable students residing and studying in Social Justice hostels to promptly report complaints related to food and other issues and obtain appropriate solutions. Students have also been provided with the facility to register their complaints and grievances through telephone and WhatsApp.
Every complaint received will be brought to the attention of the concerned officials, and necessary action will be taken to ensure its prompt resolution. In addition, the functioning of the control room will enable continuous monitoring of issues related to the food and basic amenities provided to students in the hostels.
During the inauguration of the control room, the Hon’ble Minister for Social Justice interacted directly with the students and enquired about their needs and welfare. It has been stated that the 24-hour control room will continue to function to identify and resolve students’ grievances at the earliest.
