As a major development in India’s semiconductor sector, L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has unveiled 40 new semiconductor products at SEMICON India 2026. The products, launched on September 18, were showcased under the theme “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem.”
A key highlight of the 40-product portfolio is L&T Semiconductor Technologies’ first Silicon Carbide (SiC) product platform. In particular, its 1200V SiC MOSFET technology has been developed for high-performance applications such as fast chargers for electric vehicles, microgrids, solid-state transformers, and traction inverters.
Along with these products, LTSCT has also introduced a BLDC motor controller chip designed entirely in India. The chip has been developed for use across multiple models and is intended to support energy-efficient applications, including BLDC electric fans. The new portfolio also includes technologies such as a USB-C GaN charger, Vision Camera SoC, and Secure Identity Platform.
