orth Korean leader Kim Jong Un has selected his daughter as his potential successor, South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) informed lawmakers on Thursday. The development has drawn significant attention across international political circles.

According to the South Korean intelligence assessment, Kim Jong Un has been taking steps to position his young daughter as his official heir. Over the past few years, she has frequently appeared alongside him at major military events, missile test launches, and key state ceremonies — moves widely viewed as signals of succession planning.
International media reports have identified his daughter as “Kim Ju Ae.” She is believed to be around 13 years old. Given North Korea’s dynastic style of leadership, this move is being seen as the beginning of a potential fourth-generation rule of the Kim family.

However, North Korea has not made any official announcement regarding the succession. Political observers suggest that a clearer declaration could emerge during an upcoming Workers’ Party conference.
Experts believe this development could have significant implications for the future political landscape and security dynamics of the Korean Peninsula.
